[ It's sweet, the way his Wanyin clings to him. Xichen shows him how to kiss deeply, slow and unhurried about it as he paints the taste of tea around that hot mouth, a quiet moan muffling in place as he draws Jiang Cheng in closer and brushes a thumb under his ear, feeling his thudding pulse.
He should go slower, be more polite, but he likes the way he can affect him so keenly. ]
[ He’s never experienced anything quite as heady as this, and he feels a little bit like he’s drowning in warm water - but it feels good, and he tilts up to ask for more, and there’s an urge to try and get closer, as if he could crawl into Lan Xichen’s lap and take advantage of the moment.
That feels silly.
Leaning back to give himself a moment to gather his senses, he lifts his own hand to touch Xichen’s against his neck, swallowing back the tumbling of words. ]
[ Flustered isn't the word for Jiang Cheng who, if Xichen is right, has never been kissed before. He sits up a little to rest his chin in soft black hair and gather him in close as Jiang Cheng catches his breath, rubbing his back.
It's cool in the library, nothing like the mini firestorm between between them everywhere they touch. ]
It's okay, you're okay. Take a moment.
[ The imprint of those kisses haunts his lips, tracing them with his tongue where he can't be seen and trying to calm his own racing heartbeat. ]
[ He’s completely unaccustomed to it and he wants to lash out a little, instinct having him want to be a little angry and defensive, because that’s how he is. Jiang Cheng tilts his head up, letting his eyes drag over Xichen’s face, licking his lips.
It was good. A wonderful experience. He knows instinctively that he wants it again; to lean up and kiss him softly, to wrap arms around them and squeeze him and never let go.
[ It's such a vulnerable request that he answers it without fail, angling his head to capture a kiss that sears through him with a shiver and doesn't go easy on Jiang Cheng. He pours all the fondness and attraction into it that has been stirred up since Wanyin came to visit and made him feel less like a ghost, hungry for the heat of him even if he doesn't know how to kiss back yet, teaching him how it feels to be so ardently desired.
[ It is a learning experience, wanting to lift himself up to return each of Xichen’s kisses, to try and give all the desire he has inside of him back. He wants to prove the affection, to show that what he is feeling is real, an honest thing brought out by the pleasure of the company. It feels improper, to be doing this here, but if one of the Jades does not complain…
He has become as bad as his adoptive brother. Creating chaos almost without intention.
Pressing up into the kiss, he tries to mirror Xichen as much as he can. ]
[ Jiang Cheng's enthusiasm has Xichen smiling into their kisses before too long, running his hands up his Wanyin's waist and back and down again just to let him feel gathered up completely as they muffle breaths and stroke tongues, over and over until a low sound rumbles against Jiang Cheng's mouth; Xichen is flushed at last, not just his ears but his cheeks are a sharp pink too.
He nips at a lower lip, tugging before kissing it better again. ]
[ There's a small part of Jiang Cheng that's a little irritated at the idea of Xichen's experience, that he's already so good at this when he is pushing himself to catch up as quickly as possible, but he cannot dwell on that for long when he is the person benefitting from it. He's fumbling a little with his hands, not sure where to put them or where they should go, but he lets himself press closer, as if chasing the taste of Xichen's mouth.
Mortifying. Utterly mortifying.
At least he can bask in the fact that Xichen seems equally as undone by the kissing, eyes glued to the warm colour of his skin when he realises why exactly the other man might look as red as he is. ]
[ Xichen could kiss him all day, nip a tongue and stroke it in apology, bite at those delicious lips that are so hungry for this ...
He trails the kisses down Jiang Cheng's jaw, mouthing over his pulse. Not to leave a love-bite, which he wouldn't without permission, but enough that every lick can be felt gliding over soft, untouched skin.
At a waist he kneads his fingers, holding him close. ]
[ Jiang Cheng makes a soft, almost awed noise, the kind that immediately embarrasses him as he feels the press of a mouth against his neck. He has to swallow back the protests in his mouth, biting his lip for a moment at his arms squeeze at Xichen.
He's pulled a little closer, but that does remind him - ]
Well, we can go back to translating, if you'd like. That's alright too. Or we could ... [ He licks his lower lip, trying not to smile shyly and failing. ] We could kiss a while longer. You can see what you want to happen after that.
[ Not to get too descriptive, although he suspects that's precisely what Jiang Cheng wants. ]
[ Trying to find the words is awkward but he does so for the younger man's benefit, playing with the band at his waist. Xichen's voice drops to a low purr so as not to be overheard by anyone near the library outside. ]
We could touch each other. It's okay to leave our clothes on for that, if you prefer. It will still feel good. If you want to undress after and try more, we can progress to that too.
[ It's the first time he has really felt flustered since they fell into one another, blinking quickly down at the very pretty sight before him. He trails his fingers along a jaw, tracing through long hair where it spills over Jiang Cheng's shoulder. ]
We would need to leave the l-library for that.
[ Said even as he leans back in to kiss him softly, unable to resist. ]
[ Giving a nod, he squeezes Jiang Cheng by the hand before disentangling and rising, leading the way out. When they come upon a disciple Xichen asks that the library be tidied and that he and Jiang-zongzhu are not to be disturbed in the Hanshi, which seems a perfectly normal request for him to make. His seclusion is respected.
Once he closes the doors of the Hanshi behind them, however, he closes the space between them again and slides a hand into Jiang Cheng's hair to cup the back of his head as he kisses him deeply, the walk from the library having made the anticipation of 'more' unbearable. ]

It’s hideously embarrassing for him. ]
I know. I am fine. It is fine, I…
[ He leans up, nudging their noses together. ]

A-Huan... We're in the library.

[ So who cares? He chuckles and raises his head, brushing back Jiang Cheng's hair as he takes stock of his blush. ]
Are you alright?
no subject
I am fine. Just concerned about being interrupted.
no subject
A-Cheng, would you like to continue this somewhere more private?
no subject
That depends on what you mean by "continue".
no subject
We can stop any whichever point you wish, if you only want to kiss that's more than enough for me. I ... didn't expect even this much, if I'm honest.

[ Theory is different to reality, after all! ]

[ It isn't a fast answer, brushing back strands of hair to see him better as he considers. ]
Yes, I would like more of a-Cheng to myself, while he is in Cloud Recesses.
no subject
Then we should walk back together.
